Indigenous leader Warren Mundine has heaped praise on the AFL club Collingwood Magpies after they ‘surprised’ him by supporting the Voice to Parliament but also informing their staff and players on the No campaign.
“One club which surprised me was Collingwood – the directors said they support the Voice,” Mr Mundine told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“They also said their staff and players can vote whatever way they want.
“Then they got the Yes campaign to do a presentation and then they got me to come in and give a presentation – that’s the way to do it.”
